Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 Books I Enjoyed That Have Under 2000 Ratings On Goodreads

'Top Ten Tuesday' is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. I love making lists, so this feature fits me perfectly! If you also take part in this feature or have any additions to my lists, please get in touch; I'd love to hear from you!

Top 10 Books I Enjoyed That Have Under 2000 Ratings On Goodreads

This week's Top Ten Tuesday is definitely an interesting one! I love Goodreads and have had an account on the website for years, so I was curious to check out how many books on my read list currently have less than 2000 ratings. However, I quickly discovered that over 400 books on my read-list actually have less than 2000 ratings, which left me with quite a few books to choose from for this week's Top 10, haha! I decided to just start at the bottom, so here are 10 of the books I reviewed on Goodreads and this blog which have the fewest ratings on Goodreads!

Be sure to share your own TTT's in the comments section below; I'd love to hear from you!

1. 'A Country Practice' - Judith Colquhoun

I got the chance to review Judith Colquhoun's 'A Country Practice' book series thanks to publisher Corazon Books. The series is actually based on the popular TV show with the same name, so I'm actually quite surprised there are hardly any reviews of these books on Goodreads...!

2. 'Sand in My Shoes' - Jenny Harper

I got the chance to read this novella by author Jenny Harper last year and I really enjoyed it. It's a lovely quick summer read and I definitely recommend it to any women's fiction fans.

3. 'Escape to the Riviera' - Jules Wake

I was part of the blog tour for this novel yesterday and since it's a really recent release it is currently still one of the books on my Goodreads list with few reviews, but I'm sure that will most likely have already changed by the time this post goes live!

4. 'The Defining Act of Alexa Davies' - Alice Burden

I read this novel by author Alice Burden earlier this year. It is quite a quick read, with roughly 220 pages, and an enjoyable one, so once again I'm quite surprised to see this novel has so few ratings on Goodreads!

5. 'The Love of a Lifetime' - Mary Fitzgerald

I was asked to review this war-time romance novel in 2013 and it was my first Mary Fitzgerald read! Since then I've read several more novels by this author and have really come to appreciate her books. I think the book was also released under a different title, so that's perhaps why this particular edition doesn't have that many ratings on Goodreads...

6. 'Love on the Lido Deck' - Barbara Oliverio

This is actually a sequel to Barbara Oliverio's debut novel. I read both books and thoroughly enjoyed them, so definitely want to urge other readers to check them out.

7. 'A Family Holiday' - Bella Osborne

Also a recent release and an absolutely fantastic read! This book deserves so many more 5-star ratings on Goodreads... Don't hesitate to pick it up if you're a chick lit fan, you won't be disappointed!

8. 'Who Needs Mr. Willoughby' - Katie Oliver

A must-read for any Jane Austen fan and once again I am really surprised this novel doesn't have more ratings on Goodreads, because I really loved it!

9. 'Mr. Perfect' - Joanna Davies

In 2013 I was contacted by Welsh publisher Honno Press and I got the chance to review Joanna Davies' novel 'Mr. Perfect.' I thought it was such a great read and I want to take this opportunity to once again urge readers to pick this up, it really is worth it!

10. 'Pretty Famous' - Carla Caruso

This is actually the third part of Carla Caruso's 'Astonvale' book series which revolves around main character Celeste Pretty. I love the series and this third part was another great read... Can't believe it doesn't have more ratings on Goodreads!
