1. 'Don't Tell the Groom' - Anna Bell
I recently read all three parts of Anna Bell's 'Don't Tell...' series and if you're a fan of weddings, you really need to pick up these novels. Main protagonist Penny is busy planning her first wedding in the first book, 'Don't Tell the Groom', and even more weddings are focused on in the other parts... Such lovely books!
2. 'A Groom with a View' - Sophie Ranald
Another great chick lit read which focuses on a bride who decides to plan her own wedding. Sophie Ranald writes really entertaining and fun stories, and this is definitely a great read!
3. 'The Marrying Type' - Laura Chapman
I'm actually reading this book at the moment and I'm really enjoying it. The cover is simply stunning, and the book is great fun. Another read perfect for wedding fans!
4. Julia Williams - 'The Bridesmaid Pact'
Of course there are also some fabulous bridesmaid reads out there, like Julia Williams' 'The Bridesmaid Pact.'
5. Kat French - 'Undertaking Love'
I got the chance to read and review 'Undertaking Love' last year and I loved it! Marla has her own wedding chapel and she's facing a few challenges when handsome Gabriel opens a funeral parlour next door... A really original and thoroughly enjoyable read!
6. Fiona Valpy - 'The French for Always'
This book tells the story of Sara who decides to leave England together with her fiance Gavin to transform a French chateau into a boutique wedding venue. When Gavin unexpectedly leaves her, Sara has to get through the summer alone, organising five big weddings. I love Fiona Valpy's writing style and this is a great read with a lot of lovely weddings in it!
7. 'The Wedding Planner' - Melanie La'Brooy
It's been quite some time since I read this novel, but it's a story that has stayed with me. Mimi is asked to be the bridesmaid and unofficial wedding planner for her big sister Sabrina; a delightful novel!
8. 'The Wedding Party' - Sophie King
Sophie King is another women's fiction author whose novels never disappoint me. 'The Wedding Party' is no different; a lovely novel about... you guessed it, a wedding!
This book is a bit like the romantic comedy '27 Dresses' starring Katherine Heigl, a film which I loved. I also really enjoyed this book which tells the story of a girl who continues to be the bridesmaid instead of the bride.
I haven't read any of these, but I do like the covers for most of them. Great list! :)
