Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 Favourite TV Shows of All Time

'Top Ten Tuesday' is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. I love making lists, so this feature fits me perfectly! If you also take part in this feature or have any additions to my lists, please get in touch; I'd love to hear from you!

Top 10 Favourite TV Shows of All Time

I love this week's Top Ten Tuesday list provides us with the chance to step away from books for a bit and look at TV shows instead! I'm a big TV fan and love nothing more than sitting down on the couch after a long day of work with a book or a good TV show. Here are some of my favourites; if you have any recommendations, please don't hesitate to leave a comment below! :)

1. 'Gilmore Girls'

I'm currently rewatching all of the episodes because of the new episodes that are coming up in November, I CAN'T WAIT! Definitely one of my favourite TV shows of all time, if it isn't my absolute favourite... Still deciding on that one.

2. 'Friends'

I grew up watching 'Friends' on TV and it's one of the shows I can watch over and over again and just not get enough of.

3. 'Hart of Dixie'

I was so sad when 'Hart of Dixie' was cancelled after four seasons. I loved everything about this show and could have watched it for 6 more seasons, without a doubt <3

4. 'Dawson's Creek'

When I was a teenager I couldn't get enough of 'Dawson's Creek' and I still think it's one of the best TV shows we've ever had. Just like Pacey and Joey continue to be one of my all-time favourite TV couples.

5. 'How I Met Your Mother'

I actually hadn't watched any of 'How I Met Your Mother' until last year when I watched all seasons within a few months. It's one of the only relatively recent comedy series that comes close to 'Friends' in my opinion and is just a great and incredibly funny show.

6. 'Downton Abbey'

My favourite costume drama series... Still keeping my fingers crossed for a film!

7. 'Glee'

Even though I am one of the first people to admit the show definitely wasn't as great after the death of Corey Monteith, I loved 'Glee' and couldn't wait until new episodes were released.

8. 'Younger'

One of my current favourites; a truly great show!

9. 'Modern Family'

One of the only shows currently still on TV that actually makes me laugh out loud.

10. 'Suits'

I usually go for a different type of show, but 'Suits' was recommened to me by family and I've really come to love it (and not just because of Gabriel Macht, I promise...).

  1. I really want Younger to come onto Netflix so I can watch it from the beginning!! It looks like something I would love. Also OMG YES to Friends and Gilmore Girls and Dawson's. Dawson's Creek is prob the only time my OTP made it!

    1. I have to agree, last episode wasn't exactly what I had hoped it would be, but still a great series overall. Thanks for stopping by, Giovanna!

  3. I love Friends and Gilmore Girls, two of my favourite shows! I did love Glee but after Season 3 it kind of went downhill. I also love How I Met Your Mother but the last episode left me kind of sour.

    1. I have to agree with everything you've said! Glee had such potential, but it just didn't really work as well after season 3. Season 4 was still OK, but after that... Thanks for the visit!
