Top 10 Love Quotes from Books

Yes, yes, it's that time of the year again: Valentine's Day! I have to admit, I'm not a particularly big fan of this holiday. I don't hate it, I don't love, let's put it that way. But you know what I do love? A good romantic story! <3 And luckily there are plenty of them out there, so for this week's Top Ten Tuesday Valentine's Freebie I decided to go with 10 love quotes I love!

Be sure to share your own TTT's in the comments section below; I'd love to hear from you!

1. 'Great Expectations' - Charles Dickens

2. 'Persuasion' - Jane Austen

“You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone for ever. I offer myself to you again with a heart even more your own than when you almost broke it, eight years and a half ago. Dare not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death. I have loved none but you."

3. 'Winnie the Pooh' - A. A. Milne

4. 'The Notebook' - Nicholas Sparks

5. 'Where Rainbows End' - Cecelia Ahern

6. 'The Longest Ride' - Nicholas Sparks

7. 'Pride and Prejudice' - Jane Austen

8. 'Twilight' - Stephenie Meyer

9. 'Beautiful Creatures' - Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl

10. 'Dear John' - Nicholas Sparks

Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 Book Quotes I Loved

Top 10 Book Quotes I Loved

This week's Top Ten Tuesday list should actually be based on the Top 10 quotes I loved from books I read this year. However, I am not really someone who writes down/remembers specific quotes from novels; I don't know why. I have some favourite classic quotes, but no quotes from new novels are added to that list, somehow, and I don't know why. Perhaps I should start making a note of memorable quotes, but that's something for later. For now, though, I decided to recycle one of my previous Top 10s, namely one that includes my personal 10 favourite book quotes!

Be sure to share your own TTT's in the comments section below; I'd love to hear from you!

1. 'The Wizard of Oz'

2. 'Peter Pan'

3. 'A Walk to Remember'

4. 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'

5. 'Pride and Prejudice'

6. 'The Notebook'

7. 'Wuthering Heights'

8. 'Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone'

9. 'Little Women'

10. 'Mary Poppins'
