  Top 10 Books I've Read So Far in 2015! A fun Top 10 list for this week! We're already halfway into 2015 and I've had the pleasure of reading a lot of great books during these six months.   Top Ten Books On My TBR for Summer 2015
Summer is almost here! We haven't had too many sunny days over here in the Netherlands yet, but I can't wait to have some time off from work and spend some lazy summer days with my nose hidden in a book. Luckily, my TBR-list is only growing and growing, so I have quite a lot of reads planned for the summer months of 2015. Check out some of the titles which I definitely want to pick up this summer below and be sure to leave a comment to share some of your own upcoming reads! :)

1. Ali McNamara - 'From Notting Hill with Four Weddings... Actually'

I just CAN'T believe I still haven't read this book yet! I'm so ashamed, because I love love love Ali McNamara's works and her 'From Notting Hill...' series is one of my absolute favourites. This is at the absolute top of my summer 2015 TBR-list and I WILL have read it before the end of the summer!

2. Shannon Hale - 'Midnight in Austenland'

I read Shannon Hale's 'Austenland' and saw the film, and I loved both versions. I am really curious about the sequel and think it will make a great summer read.

3. Kiera Cass - 'The Selection'

I've read both really possitive and really negative reviews about Kiera Cass' 'The Selection.' I'm still really curious and plan on definitely picking up this book this summer to decide for myself what to think of it.

4. Jojo Moyes - 'Me Before You'

Don't think I am actually allowed to call myself a true chick lit/women's fiction fan without having read 'Me Before You', so without a doubt a read I definitely need to pick up within the next couple of months!

5. Jane Costello - 'The Wish List'

I read Jane Costello's 'The Love Shack' a few weeks ago and loved it from start to finish. I can't wait to check out another one of her novels, so plan on picking up 'The Wish List' this summer.

6. Miranda Dickinson - 'I'll Take New York'

I love saving Miranda Dickinson's novels for my summer holidays, because I know her books never ever disappoint. I can't wait to finally get started in 'I'll Take New York'!

7. Monica McInerney - 'Hello From the Gillespies'

I wasn't familiar with this author or the novel when I saw it lying in a book shop. I immediately loved the cover and the title and decided to buy it. It still sounds like a great read and I really hope I will be able to finally pick it up this summer!

8. Emily Liebert - 'Those Secrets We Keep'

Another author who is slowly turning into one of my personal favourites! I always want some definite fab reads to keep me company during my summer holidays and 'Those Secrets We Keep' is one of those reads!

9. Sophie Kinsella - 'Shopaholic' series

I really want to read the whole series in one go, one book after another, but I still haven't found the time. Hopefully this summer, fingers crossed!

10. John Green - 'The Fault in Our Stars'

Everyone seems to love this book, so I know I have to check it out as well. But somehow I still haven't picked it up; I guess I'm afraid it won't be able to live up to the hype..? Hopefully I will be able to share my opinion by the end of the summer!

  Top 10 Favourite Heroines from Books
Another week, another Top 10 Tuesday list! I love this week's topic, my favourite book heroines, and found it quite difficult to just come up with 10, to be honest! I often read books in which I love and can relate to the main heroine, but it was quite tricky to decide which lucky ladies would make it into my top 10 of favourites!

1. Angela Clark from 'I Heart...'

A no-brainer. Lindsey Kelk's 'I Heart...' series is one of my favourite chick lit book series and it's difficult to not fall in love with Angela when reading the books. She's so easily loveable and crazy, I can't get enough of her adventures!

2. Jamie Sullivan from 'A Walk to Remember'

One of the book heroines I most admire has to be Jamie Sullivan from Nicholas Sparks' heartbreaking novel 'A Walk to Remember.' I admire Jamie's strength and her belief in what is right; sometimes I wish I could be a bit more like her!

3. Rachel from 'Something Borrowed'

I fell in love with this novel and its main character Rachel from the first page. Rachel finds herself in a really difficult situation, and while I don't support all of her decisions, I do understand where she's coming from and Emily Giffin just did a wonderful job writing this novel and making the readers warm to the characters.

4. Elizabeth Bennet from 'Pride and Prejudice'

Of course Elizabeth Bennet cannot be missing from this list! What's not to love about her *speaking like the big Jane Austen fan I am*?

5. Jo March from 'Little Women'

Another simply wonderful female character who has stayed with me ever since I was a little girl. I always wanted to be like Jo, and even though I still can't support her decision for not marrying Laurie (crazy girl!), she remains one of my personal favourites.

6. Hermione Granger from 'Harry Potter'

Another heroine that rightfully deserves a place on this list. Hermione is a brilliant character and I love her, full stop.

7. Claudia from 'The Twelve Dates of Christmas'

One of the funniest chick lit novels and heroines ever. Lisa Dickenson is a fabulous author and all of her book characters are so much fun and easy to love, but Claudia has to be my favourite.

8. Lizzy Spellman from 'It Had to Be You'

I read Ellie Adams' novel 'It Had to Be You' last year and it was difficult not to fall head over heels in love with main character Lizzy. She's so easy to relate to and funny; I loved her.

9. Scarlett O'Brien from 'From Notting Hill...'

Another simply amazing chick lit series is Ali McNamara's 'From Notting Hill...' series. Fans of romantic comedies will hopefully like reading about Scarlett O'Brien's adventures as much as I do. I honestly think Scarlett and I would be the best of friends if we ever met... Too bad she's just a literary character!

10. Emma Woodhouse from 'Emma'

Another Jane Austen heroine that made it into this top 10! It took me a bit of time to warm to Emma, but I've definitely come to appreciate her more and more over the years.

  Top Ten Book Characters That Would Be Sitting At My Lunch Table
This week's Top Ten Tuesday is quite a fun one and definitely a top 10 I would never have come up with myself! The idea of a specific lunch table at school is not something I ever really experienced (I guess it just wasn't really like that at my secondary school), but I really liked thinking of characters who would sit at my lunch table if I had one. I look forward to seeing other people's lists, so be sure to leave a comment to this post and share your own top 10!

1. Mary Poppins

I love Mary Poppins and I'd definitely want her at my lunch table because of two reasons: 1) She's a great cook so she would be able to bring yummy lunch snacks for our lunch table, 2) She has a great bag in which she can fit anything, so she could bring a whole collection of books with her we could discuss during lunch!

2. Hermione Granger from the 'Harry Potter' series

Hermione is just as much of a geek/good girl/book lover as I am, so I have no doubt we would get along. She definitely deserves a spot at my lunch table.

3. Jo March from 'Little Women'

Jo March has been one of my favourite literary characters since I was a little girl and I've always loved her, so I couldn't leave her out of this top 10!

4. Rachel White from 'Something Borrowed'

'Something Borrowed' is an amazing book and I've always loved the character of Rachel. I think she and I would really get along, so I'd like her at my lunch table as well.

5. Lizzie Spellman from 'It Had to Be You'

'It Had to Be You' is one of my most recent chick lit reads and I absolutely loved it. Lizzie is a great and funny heroine and I'd love to be friends with her.

6. Ben Gilbert from 'You're the One That I Want'

Of course I also need a guy or two at my table, so I decided to pick Ben from Giovanna Fletcher's 'You're the One That I Want'. He's handsome, funny and just a great and trustworthy guy... Perfect!

7. Jane Hayes from 'Austenland'

As a big Jane Austen fan, I need someone with whom I can talk about this particular topic. Who better than Jane Hayes from 'Austenland', who loves anything having to do with Austen as much as I do?

8. Claudia from 'The Twelve Dates of Christmas'

Lisa Dickenson is an amazing and incredibly funny author and I just had to pick one of her heroines to join me at my lunch table (I would have picked Lisa herself, but unfortunately she's not a book character).

9. Fitzwilliam Darcy from 'Pride and Prejudice'

I think Ben needs another man to keep him company, so why not go with one of the most romantic male characters of all time?

10. Landon Brinkley from 'Party Girl'

I loved 'Party Girl', mainly because of the amazing main character, Landon. She sounds like a great girl, and someone who knows how to organise a fabulous party, which could come in handy!
