If you ever do get to read 'Wicked', I'd love to hear what you think of it! About Jodi Picoult, do you have any recommendations? I'd like to try some of her other work!Jody - A Spoonful of Happy Endingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11035519235921880965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8009357269931443956.post-35390627710537854622014-05-13T22:14:50.463+01:002014-05-13T22:14:50.463+01:00I feel the same about The Host, and I'm so gla...I feel the same about The Host, and I'm so glad I kept reading. I liked Twilight, so reading The Host was something I knew I'd do. The beginning threw me, as Twilight captured me straight away, so I was expecting the same.

With Shakespeare, I think school traumatized me against him! I haven't read anything of his since leaving. I must try some, see what I think of him now. =)

My TTT
Alma @ Journey Through FictionAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05889303601242344598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8009357269931443956.post-7355312901214251372014-05-13T14:38:53.418+01:002014-05-13T14:38:53.418+01:00I thought The Host was a little slow to start as w...I thought The Host was a little slow to start as well, but I ended up really loving that book.
I have The Lord of the Rings on my list as well (I added a section for books I did put down and need to try again). I tried reading them when I was kind of young, so maybe we should both try again? :)

My TTT!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8009357269931443956.post-89608399850100140962014-05-13T14:22:37.407+01:002014-05-13T14:22:37.407+01:00I couldn't get through Lone Wolf either, altho...I couldn't get through Lone Wolf either, although I've read nearly all of her other books! And while I finished The Fellowship of the Ring, I stopped reading the series halfway through The Two Towers. That was years ago though, so I'm curious to see if I'd have a different experience now?

Brenna from Esther's Ever AfterBrennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10514638012223235684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8009357269931443956.post-87213884167191563012014-05-13T13:24:58.052+01:002014-05-13T13:24:58.052+01:00Oh man I had to do an English project on The Sun A...Oh man I had to do an English project on The Sun Also Rises... and I distinctly remember hating life during that time. It is a TOUGH book to read. And weird. And I didn't like it. I got Cliff Notes :) I would like to read Wicked one of these days... just never enough time!!! And I love Jodi Picoult, but haven't read Lone Wolf and don't really want to. It's the one book by her that doesn't seem appealing to me.

My TTTMichellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02288722022982656753noreply@blogger.com
